Method of diagnosing the lubrication system of the internal combustion engines

The invention relates to the motor vehicle operation and may be used for diagnosing the lubrication system of the internal combustion engines. The proposed method includes measurement of the oil pressure in the oil main line at the crankshaft constant rotation in conditions of oil flow and supply cut off through a calibrated throttle valve, connected to the oil main line. Supplementary, it is measured the oil pressure at the inlet of oil filter of the oil main line in oil flow and supply cut off conditions.The technical state of the oil pump and of the lubrication system elements is determined on the basis of calculations, using the measurement results.Claims: 1Fig.: 1
