<p>The transmission has a Ravigneaux planetary gear set (2) that includes four rotary units structured in such a way that when revolution states of two rotary units are determined, the revolution state of other rotary units is determined. A coupling section sequentially couples respective rotary units in a higher revolution speed order to motor/generators, to drive system outputs, and inputs from a main power source. An Independent claim is also included for a method applicable to a hybrid transmission.</p> |
