SYSTEM FOR MONITORING IMAGE USING POWER LINE

PURPOSE: A system for monitoring an image using a power line is provided to simplify interface between a monitoring camera and a control device by transmitting control signal and video signals through a single power line. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring camera(200) rectifies signals received through a power line for supplying power necessary for operations of each element, and extracts a camera control signal included in the received signal for controlling driving of a photographing unit(250). A control unit(130) generates the camera control signal. A pulse generator(140) generates a power source signal on pulse corresponding to the camera control signal. A first interface unit(150) transmits the power source signal on pulse to the monitoring camera through the power line. A second interface unit(210) receives the signals transmitted through the power line. A power extracting unit(220) rectifies the signals received through the power line for extracting power necessary for operations of each element. A control data extracting unit(230) extracts the camera control signal included in the signals received through the second interface unit. A camera control unit(240) controls the photographing unit according to the control unit.
