The sign (1) is for use with an abandoned vehicle visible from a road bearing traffic, has a surface (7) formed to attract attention and a fixture for attachment of the sign to the vehicle so that its surfaces faces the road. The sign surface contains at least one first information field (10) which carries a permanent symbol (11) aimed at preventing traffic users on the road from stopping to investigate the vehicle. At least one second information field (12) is incorporated, in which information adapted to the situation is inserted or made visible when the vehicle is left in the abandoned state. |
