<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an electronic component capable of responding to a request for thinning associated with the thinning of the electronic component while securing dimensional absorptivity. <P>SOLUTION: This connector is provided with: a holder 20 formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape with an insulating elastomer for housing a microphone 1; and a plurality of conductive connection pieces 30 disposed on the bottom of the holder 20 and coming into contact with a plurality of electrodes of the microphone 1. Elastic assembly tolerance absorbing ribs 40 are protrusively formed in the opening peripheral part of the holder 20, and the microphone 1 is electrically connected to the plurality of connection pieces 30. The thickness T of the absorbing rib 40 and the height (h) of the absorbing rib 40 are set to 0.2-0.5mm and 0.1-0.5mm, respectively, and a height H from the absorbing rib 40 to the connection piece 30 is set to 2.2mm or less. Since the dimensional absorptivity is secured by letting the absorbing ribs 40 absorb the assembly tolerance and the like, it is not necessary to thin the connection pieces 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
