PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for chip forming machining in which a joint having such a shape that deformation or the emergence of cracks is decreased or entirely prevented is formed. SOLUTION: The device for chip forming machining is provided with a first rotatable body 1 and a second rotatable body 3. The first body 1 is provided with a male element 6 and the second body is provided with a female element 7, into which the male element 6 is inserted for forming a joint. The male and female elements 6 and 7 are respectively provided with threads 4 and 5 for forming of a threaded joint, and the male element 6 is provided with an outer circumference area 8, which is displaced in an axial direction in relation to the thread thereof and which engages a corresponding inner circumference area 9 of the female element 7 by means of press fit. In the outer circumference and inner circumference areas 8 and 9, the outer circumference of the male element 6 and/or inner circumference of the female element 7 has an out-of-roundness so that there is press fit along two or more areas 10-13 determined beforehand, which are separated from each other, seen in the circumferential direction of the male and female elements.
