PURPOSE: A water supply device of a washing machine is provided to improve washing and rinsing efficiencies by accelerating dissolving detergent and infiltrating washing water to the laundry with evenly injecting washing water from the top center to the laundry in the washing tub through an injection unit. CONSTITUTION: A water supply device for a washing machine is composed of a case having an input hole putting or drawing the laundry out of a washing tub; a cover(66) installed in the input hole and opened or closed; a feed water valve assembly(72) installed at the side of the case to decide supply of water to the washing tub; and an injection unit(100) installed in the cover and connected to the feed water valve assembly to shower washing water to the washing tub. The injection unit has a water supply connection pipe(102) connected to the feed valve assembly, a water supply pipe connected to the water supply connection pipe in closing the cover and installed in the back of the cover, and an injection port(106) formed in the water supply pipe to shower washing water. |
