PURPOSE: A DC booster is provided to simplify the configuration of circuit and reduce the mounting area of chip by reducing the count of capacitors and switching elements. CONSTITUTION: A DC booster comprises a plurality of booster units(310,320,330) each of which receives a first voltage and charges a first charge unit with the first voltage, receives a second voltage and outputs a third voltage having a size same as the size of sum of the first and second voltages, and charges a second charge unit with the third voltage. Each of booster units includes a first switch(311) having a first terminal connected to the first voltage; a first capacitor(312) having a first terminal connected to a second terminal of the first switch; a second switch(313) having a first terminal connected to a second terminal of the first capacitor; a third switch(314) having a first terminal connected to the second voltage; a fourth switch(315) having a first terminal connected to the first terminal of the first capacitor; and a second capacitor(316) having a first terminal connected to a second terminal of the fourth switch.
