<p>The fastening consists of a metal slider (22) with two side wings (24, 26) which fit into grooves (36, 38) of adjacent parallel timber boards. The slider has a hole for a screw (30), the head of which is accessible to a screwdriver inserted between the upper edges (40, 42) of the boards which project above the grooves. The slider is made from stainless steel and has a degree of elasticity to compensate for shrinkage or expansion of the timber.</p> |
