PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the formation of cracks in parts changing a cross-sectional shape in right surface parts of land parts and water capturing parts of a shoe press belt provided with the water capturing parts and land parts in the surface layer of a layer on the wet web side. SOLUTION: The shoe press belt 10 comprises a substrate B and the layer 20 on the wet web side provided on the outside of the substrate B and a layer S on the shoe side on the inside thereof. The layer 20 on the wet web side and the layer S on the shoe side are composed of a polymeric elastic material. The right surface layer 11 of the layer 20 on the wet web side is composed of the recessed water capturing parts 40 and the land parts 50 which are protruding parts produced by the formation of the water capturing parts 40. The hardness of the surface parts 52 of the land parts 50 is set at a relatively lower value than that of the parts 43 changing the cross-sectional shape of the water capturing parts 40. Thereby, the formation of the cracks in the surface parts 52 of the land parts 50 and the parts 43 changing the cross-sectional shape of the water capturing parts 40 in the shoe press belt 10 is suppressed.
