<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for manufacturing compost by enhancing efficiency of removing ammonia, by improving the working environment, and of facilitating operation management. <P>SOLUTION: The compost is manufactured by adding an ammonia removing agent which is prepared by heat treating a compound selected from zeolite, magnesium phosphate, calcium phosphate, and ammonium zinc phosphate at≤200°C or is prepared by pulverizing one or more kinds of a compound containing zeolite and phosphite, ammonium magnesium phosphate. and a compound containing ammonium magnesium phosphate to compost raw materials or a compost fermentation step, and immobilizing and removing the NH<SB>3</SB>produced during the fermentation by the ammonia removing agent. At this time, the ammonia removing agent is manufactured by using granular materials, separating and recovering part or the whole of the granular materials from the product and returning and adding the same to the raw materials or the compost fermentation step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
