PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for sensing/processing an error operation in a keyphone system are provided to judge whether a corresponding low-speed process peripheral device is normal by a DTACK(Data Transfer ACKnowledgement) signal outputted from the low-speed process peripheral device, stop the access of the low-speed process peripheral device which is abnormally operated, and normally operate residual low-speed process peripheral devices. CONSTITUTION: Low-speed process peripheral devices(210a-210n) generate DTACK signals. A control unit(200) receives the DTACK signals from the low-speed process peripheral devices(210a-210n), judges whether the low-speed process peripheral devices(210a-210n) are normal, and generates a DTACK enable signal according to the judged result. AND gate units(220a-220n) activate the DTACK signal outputted from the low-speed process peripheral device according to the DTACK enable signal transmitted from the control unit(200). A clock delay unit(240) delays clocks of DTACK signals outputted from the AND gate units(220a-220n) by a clock signal and a chip selection signal outputted from the control unit(200), generates a TA(Transfer Acknowledgement) signal, and transmits the TA signal to the control unit(200). A status storing unit(250) stores status information for indicating whether the low-speed process peripheral devices(210a-210n) are normal.
