HOLDING TYPE FIXING DEVICE FOR ORTHODONTIA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for orthodontia which causes little invasion on the occasion of fitting and can be fitted and removed easily.

SOLUTION: The fixing device used for orthodontia is constituted of projecting parts 3 which pierce the skin and come into contact with a bone and a connecting member 2 which urges the projecting parts 3 toward the bone. The connecting member 2 is formed in the shape of a letter U substantially and the projecting parts 3 are brought into contact with the inside and outside of the alveolar bone, so as to fix the fixing device 1 to this bone. The device is constituted of the projecting parts 3 piercing the skin and coming into contact with the bone and the connecting member 2 connecting the projecting part 3, and the projecting parts are urged by the connecting member in the direction of widening or narrowing a distance between them.
