<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct formant emphasis in a more natural manner and to improve clarity in voice for a voice processing device in which a voice emphasis process is performed so as to hear voice in a more clear manner and a mobile communication terminal device provided with the voice processing function. <P>SOLUTION: Input voice signals are analyzed in a voice analysis section 100 to obtain LPCs (linearly predicted coefficients) and the LPCs are converted into linear spectrum pairs (LSPs) of the voice signals. In a voice decoding section 200, distances among adjacent dimensions of the LSPs are computed by an LSP analysis section 3 and an LSP adjustment amount that becomes a larger value for an LSP, in which the distance between dimensions of the LSPs is closer, is computed by an LSP adjustment amount computing section 4. Based on the LSP adjustment amount, an LSP adjustment section 5 adjusts LSPs so that LSPs having closer distances among adjacent dimensions become more closer. The adjusted LSPs are converted back to LPCs and an LPC synthesizing section 7 synthesizes and outputs formant emphasized voice using the LPCs and sound source parameters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
