FRAME PROCESSING METHOD AND FRAME PROCESSOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process frames by monitoring a congestion state in a layer 2 and abandoning the frame having a frame length out of a range in terms of probability in order to solve the problem wherein a specified frame can not be processed preferentially to the frame which contends in a network by a conventional standard.

SOLUTION: In the method of processing the frame of the layer 2 in a frame processor connecting the network, the congestion state of the network is monitored and the frame exceeding a frame length threshold is abandoned according to a set abandonment probability by the detection of a congestion limit.
