PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of improvement of rigidity and reduction of weight of a vehicle frame, and particularly improve torsional rigidity of an auxiliary assisting device with respect to the vehicle frame. SOLUTION: This auxiliary power assisted bicycle is provided with the auxiliary power assisting device 3 for combining pedal stepping force and auxiliary power of an electric motor and outputting the resultant force to a driving wheel side, and a control device 43 for controlling the output of the electric motor. The control device 43 is arranged on a casing 44 of the auxiliary power assisting device 3, and the casing 44 is mounted on and suspended from the vehicle frame 2.
