PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire-monitoring system, and a monitor receiver thereof, a monitor device thereof and a sensor device thereof which can monitor the status of a tire as heretofore, even when the tire is replaced with a tire equipped with a sensor device of different communication system provided between the sensor device and the monitor device. SOLUTION: The tire monitoring system comprises the plurality of sensor devices 100, which are provided on each of tires 300 mounted on a vehicle and transmit the detection result of the statuses of the tires 300 in wireless manner; and the monitor device 200, which receives the detection result transmitted from each sensor device 100, to monitor the status of each tire 300. In the monitor device 200, a communication method table is stored, on which information on two or more kinds of communication methods in data communication between the sensor devices 100 and the monitor device 200 is described, so that data communication which uses an arbitrary communication method selected from among the communication method table can be set and used.
