PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide black toner suitable for use in an oilless fixing system, and in particular, suitable for formation of a color image. SOLUTION: The black toner used for the oilless fixing system with no oil applied on a fixing roller is used to contain a binder resin of which a lowering rate of the storage modulus G' accompanying a temperature increase is within 0.3 Pa/°C in the range of 160-200°C, a carbon black and a wax of which an amount of absorption oil is 50-100 mL/100 g. The binder resin is used to have preferably 10,000-200,000 of a weight average molecular weight (Mw), and 1-15 of a ratio (Mw)/(Mn) with a number average molecular weight (Mn), or a peak in the range of 70-100°C in a change rate of the storage modulus G'.
