PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant feeder which has achieved the elongation of a pump service life. SOLUTION: The coolant feeder has a fixed capacity pump which delivers a coolant driven by a motor and a motor control means which changes the speed of the motor, and contains a speed control means which gradually changes the speed of the motor to a speed corresponding to an operation command in response to the operation command issued as the motor control means.
