PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a non-magnetic cooling tube is installed in touch with an internal coil to improve the efficiency and performance of a coreless AC linear motor, viscous resistance occurs or cogging becomes larger. SOLUTION: A pair of manifolds and a cooling tube trained between the manifolds are formed out of stainless steel of extra non-magnetic austenite series. The width of each of the manifolds in the motor traveling direction is set so as to be equal to each of disposing pitches of permanent magnet pieces arranged on a yoke core. The cooling tube is constituted by arranging flat plates side by side with a prescribed number of small-diameter tubular cooling tubes kept in a non-contact state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
