PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pick-up device in which exposure information is displayed by selecting either of a display type of an apex unit, and a display type of an exposure time and an F value. SOLUTION: In the image pick-up device, an operator performs an input operation for exposure information with an operational part 23, and then selects a desired command display from an exposure information display selection menu displayed on a LCD monitor 18, to select either one out of the display of the apex unit and that of the exposure time and the F value unit for displaying of the exposure information. By selecting the display type of the apex unit, shutter speed information is concisely captured as displacement from a reference value, and throttling information is similarly captured as displacement in a degree of illumination of a screen and a focal depth from a reference value. By selecting the display type of the exposure time and the F value, the generation of blurring at exposure is decided based on the shutter speed information. Further, it is selected by the operator whether a shooting operation should be done or not by concretely taking in a ratio of a focal length to the diameter of an incident pupil based on the F value, depending on a purpose of display confirmation and shooting techniques, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
