MULTISTAGE TELESCOPIC ARM AND WORKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a multistage telescopic arm while securing required strength.

SOLUTION: In the multistage telescopic arm 4 supported from the working machine body side through a boom 3 and an arm cylinder 4a, a first arm 41 is composed of a joint body of an upper arm 62 and a lower arm 63 separately formed bordering on a bracket 44 for connecting the boom and the arm cylinder, and the plate thickness t2 of the upper arm 62 is made thinner than the plate thickness t1 of the lower arm 63. Load from a bucket 5 is applied to the boom 3 through the lower arm 63, and load is hardly applied to the upper arm 62. There is thereby no problem on strength even if making the plate thickness of the upper arm 62 thin.
