PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for permanent magnet capable of determining coercive force without demagnetization of the permanent magnet by acquiring magnetization characteristics in a magnetization step.SOLUTION: The inspection method of permanent magnet whose partial crystal is in a single domain state and which is a nucleation type, comprises: a magnetization step S1 for performing magnetization of the permanent magnet to the maximum magnetization by applying a magnetic field from outside; an initial magnetization curve collection step S2 for collecting an initial magnetization curve by measuring magnetization of the permanent magnet and the applied magnetic field; and a holding magnetic force determination step S3 for estimating and determining the holding magnetic force of the permanent magnet based on the initial magnetization curve. |
