<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel having excellent appearance and operability, allowing certain sealing of an opening part of a sealing agent. <P>SOLUTION: In this touch panel, a pair of upper and lower substrates 1, 2 each provided with a transparent electrode are disposed opposite to each other through the sealing agent 16 with the transparent electrodes inward, and the opening part 16a is sealed by a sealing member 71 after injection of gas from the opening part 16a of the sealing agent 16.
