PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving thermal stability of a positive electrode active material layer (capable of reducing the quantity of heat generated in an electrode), in a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which both of a lithium nickel-based composite oxide and a spinel-type lithium/manganese composite oxide are used as a positive electrode active material.SOLUTION: A positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a positive electrode current collector; and a positive electrode active material layer formed on a surface of the positive electrode current collector and including a positive electrode active material that contains a lithium nickel-based composite oxide and a spinel-type lithium/manganese composite oxide therein. The positive electrode active material layer further contains a fluorinated compound in which 40-70% of hydrogen atoms in a compound represented by ROLi (R represents a straight-chain alkyl group or a straight-chain acyl group) are substituted by a fluorine atom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
