PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital signal processor which can suppress the signal level of an inputted analog signal to the maximum voltage capable of A/D conversion or less, and can prevent distortion of a digital signal subjected to A/D conversion, while maintaining a good S/N ratio.SOLUTION: A digital signal processor 2 includes amplification factor setting means 31A-31H for setting the amplification factors of analog amplifiers 21A-21H to a second amplification factor lower than a first amplification factor specified by amplification factor adjustment knobs 12A-12H, digital amplification means 32A-32H for amplifying the digital signal subjected to A/D conversion with third amplification factor lower than the first amplification factor, and digital limiter means 33A-33H for comparing the signal level of the digital signal amplified with the third amplification factor with a predetermined threshold, and then attenuating the digital signal within a range of the third amplification factor, based on the comparison results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
