PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to mount an electric energy source for a portable electronic apparatus, preferably a button type battery. SOLUTION: This device includes a housing for the energy source 100, which is closed by a cover 14. This housing includes a tongue-shaped part 5 capable of deforming the energy source so as to axially hold it in the housing in the vicinity of its peripheral rim part. In addition, a wall surface 15 disposed between the peripheral rim part of the housing and the tongue-shaped part to stop the energy source while protruding toward the inside of the housing is included in the cover. Accordingly, when the energy source is disposed in the housing, the wall surface of the cover properly holds the energy source by surely applying the tongue-shaped part onto the energy source especially when receiving a violent impact.
