PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly structure of an FOT (Fiber Optic Transceiver) and a shield case that can prevent an external electromagnetic noise from entering the shield case and can increase the electromagnetic resistance of the FOT.SOLUTION: When assembling is performed by externally inserting a shield case 6 into an FOT 1 from an upper end side of a package 2 having a projecting ear piece 4 of an electrically conductive metal plate, a projection 9 disposed at the upper end of the package 2 firstly abuts on the closed end of the upper side of the shield case 6, and interference between the closed end and the ear piece 4 is avoided. Therefore, the closed end of the shield case 6 does not require a through hole for avoiding the interference between the FOT 1 and the ear piece 4 of the electrically conductive metal plate that projects on the upper end of the package 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
