<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a thin and compact electric pole device having a structure for extending or retracting a pole while performing a paying-out/taking-up a drive cord. <P>SOLUTION: A drive cord 13 is passed into a telescopic pole 1 that can be extended or retracted and its one end is connected to an inside part of the extremity end of the pole 1. In addition, a drive unit 17 having a motor 19 and a transmitting device 20 for use in transmitting its power force to a drive cord and a flat disc-like cord reel 15 are integrally assembled to form a driving segment 11. This driving segment 11 is stored in an external installing case 4. The drive unit 17 is connected with the bottom end of the pole 1, and the cord reel 15 is provided with an annular groove 16 for storing the drive cord in a spiral form and a guide passage 39 for guiding the drive cord into the annular groove, and one end is passed through an inner circumferential part of the annular groove 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
