PURPOSE: An organic electro-luminescence device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to lengthen a lifetime of the organic electro-luminescence device by protecting the organic electro-luminescence device from oxygen and moisture. CONSTITUTION: An electrode(3) is formed on an upper portion of a lower substrate(1) in order to input a video signal. An electro-luminescence device portion(5) is installed on an upper portion of the electrode(3) or the upper portion of the lower substrate(1). A shielding barrier(7) is formed on the upper portion of the lower substrate(1). An upper substrate is adhered on the shielding barrier(7). The shielding barrier(7) is used for preventing the inflow of a gas lamp from the outside by reducing a step coverage between the lower substrate(1) and the electrode(3). The shielding barrier(7) is formed with an insulating organic material or an insulating inorganic material. An adhesive is coated on an upper end portion of the shielding barrier(7).
