PURPOSE: A method for processing a vane slot of a compressor is provided for rapid work at inexpensive cost by improving the processing method of the vane slots formed on an upper bearing and a lower bearing. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the steps of: a first step forming rectangular penetrating holes(145,155) with one ends opened on an upper bearing(140) and a lower bearing(150) covering an upper side and a lower side of a cylinder assembly to allow a partition to be inserted therein for compression from peripheral surfaces of the upper bearing and the lower bearing to centers of the upper bearing and the lower bearing by broaching process to allow vanes to be inserted thereto; a second step grinding broaching-processed parts of the upper bearing and the lower bearing; and a third step inserting and fixing covering members(146,156) covering openings(145a,155a) on the one ends of the rectangular penetrating holes to the rectangular penetrating holes to form vane slots(144) in the rectangular penetrating holes so as to guide the vanes to reciprocate in longitudinal direction.
