PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical body with enhanced anti-reflection capability, and a display device.SOLUTION: An optical body has a first concavo-convex structure formed on a surface of a substrate and a second concavo-convex structure superimposed on the first concavo-convex structure. An average period of protrusions and recesses of the first concavo-convex structure is greater than wavelengths in the visible light band, while that of the second concavo-convex structure is no greater than the wavelengths in the visible light band. Protrusions of the second concavo-convex structure extend in a direction normal to a flat surface of the substrate, and are periodically arranged in a hexagonal or rectangular grid pattern. The optical body has a 20° gloss value that is no greater than 4%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A |
