PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a detection device including a detection electrode of a conductive material such as a metal material, which can detect an externally approaching object while suppressing the visual recognition of a plurality of scattering light points.SOLUTION: The detection device can detect an externally approaching object, and includes a substrate and a detection electrode TDL. The detection electrode TDL includes a plurality of conductive thin lines ML1 to ML7 where a plurality of first thin line pieces Ua and a plurality of second thin line pieces Ub are electrically connected. The angle formed between the first thin line piece Ua extending in a first direction and the second thin line piece Ub extending in a second direction different from the first direction, which are included in the conductive thin lines ML1 to ML7, is constant and the distance between the first thin line pieces Ua on the thin lines ML1 to ML7 having the different conductivity is not constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
