PURPOSE: An LCD device is provided to electrically connect one of dummy gate lines and other gate lines via dummy lines formed along a non-display area of other side portion faced with one side portion where gate drive ICs are connected. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(66) consists of a display area including liquid crystal cells formed in every area defined by crossing gate lines with data lines, and a non-display area covering an outer wall of the display area. Dummy gate lines(GL0) are formed in the display area to form storage capacitors of the liquid crystal cells included in a horizontal line adjacent to the non-display area. Dummy lines(70) are formed in the non-display area to connect one of the gate lines with the dummy gate lines(GL0).
