METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MULTIPLEXING PRISM CMOS IMAGERS TO DATA BUS WITH SINGLE FIXED SIZE

PURPOSE: A method and a device for multiplexing the prism CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) imagers are provided to effectively access and manufacture an array of the imagers, and improve resolving power of the imagers or offer a large resolving power image. CONSTITUTION: The device includes the both-way bus(100). Each imager(101-103,202-203) is connected to the both-way bus through output ports(110-114,210-214). A bit line of the imager is accessed by a line address(407). Each imager has the Vmode input and the output-enable input. The first multiplexer(400) has input(402) and outputs(116-120,216-220). The input is connected to a column counter. Each output is connected to the output-enable input of one imager. The second multiplexer(300) has the input(306) connected to a row counter and the outputs(302,304) connected to the Vmode input for each imager in one row.
