<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cast material for medical use by simple equipment, to give water to the cast material by a simple means, and to enable even an inexperienced person to easily handle the cast material by eliminating its defect on its production, its defect on operation of giving water to it and a defect in using it. <P>SOLUTION: The cast material is stored sealed in a package with a function of cutting off outside air. On one surface of a core material 2 provided with a reaction system presenting curing phenomenon by water supply by applying or being impregnated with a synthetic resin prepared solvent forming rigid self-keeping structure by curing material when exposed to water, a fabric such as a nonwoven fabric consisting of hydrophobic fibers. On the other surface of the core material, a fabric with a water supply function whose face on a side contacting with the surface of the core material is made to be a surface obtained by working for minimizing inverse permeation of the reaction system forming material of the core material and which consists of the hydrophilic fibers is arranged.
