PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer packaging material for a lithium ion battery superior in cold press molding property and superior in durability against a substance having strong permeability or the like. SOLUTION: There are laminated on one surface of a base material film made of nylon film having biaxial extension facility with a tensile breakdown elongation rate of 100% or more in both vertical and horizontal directions, a metal foil made of soft aluminum alloy foil having a tensile breakdown elongation rate of 10% or more in both vertical and horizontal directions and iron content of 0.7-1.7%, and an aluminum purity of 97.9% or more; an anchor coat layer composed of isocyanate compound; an adhesive resin layer made by mixing a metallocene group straight chain polyethylene resin having a density of 0.92g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more by 70-90 wt% and low density polyethylene resin by 30-10 wt%; and a sealant layer composed of a polyethylene single layer film consisting of polyethylene resin having a density of 0.92 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more, or a polyolefin system multilayered film.
