PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing original plate capable of being subjected to laser engraving on which the occurrence of scum is suppressed when a relief image is produced by directly performing the laser engraving, from which the scum can be removed with ease, and which enables the making of a printing plate with an excellent engraved shape and a low-tack printed surface. SOLUTION: A photosensitive resin composition contains a resin (a) whose number-average molecular weight is in a range of≥1,000 and≤200,000, an organic compound (b) whose number-average molecular weight is less than 1,000 and whose molecule includes a polymerizable unsaturated group, an inorganic porous body (c), and coloring matter (d). When a ratio of light passing through 1 cm of a solution, wherein the coloring matter (d) is dissolved in a concentration of 1 mg/l, is defined as a light transmittance of the coloring matter, the light transmittance of the coloring matter is 5% or more in a wavelength range of 300-600 nm, and 80% or less in a wavelength range of 700-2,000 nm.
