PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate on which the occurrence of scum is suppressed when a relief image is produced by directly performing the laser engraving, from which the scum can be removed with ease, and which has an excellent engraved shape, a low tack on a printing surface and an excellent solvent resistance. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a laser-engraving printing plate is characterized by comprising: a process (i) for forming a photosensitive resin composition layer (A), containing an inorganic porous body, on a sheet-like or cylindrical substrate; a process (ii) for hardening the whole surface of the formed photosensitive resin composition layer by irradiating the whole surface thereof with light; a process (iii) for forming an irregular pattern (C) by irradiating an obtained photosensitive resin-hardened matter layer (B) with a laser beam; a process (iv) for forming a thin film layer (D) with a thickness of≥0.1μm and≤20μm by applying a reactive composition, different in composition from a photosensitive resin composition, to the whole surface of the photosensitive resin-hardened matter layer whereon the irregular pattern is formed; and a process (v) for hardening the formed reactive composition layer by light or heat.
