In a filling machine for sealing packages, use is made of a counter jaw arrangement (10) for a heat-generating jaw (13). The counter jaw arrangement (10) includes a counter body (20) and a carrier arm (30) for supporting the counter body (20). The counter body (20) is suspended at suspension devices (11, 12) rotatably about its longitudinal axis (l) for alignment with the heat-generating jaw (13). In their turn, the suspension devices (11, 12) are moveably connected to the carrier arm (30) and adapted for movement in a plane which is parallel with the longitudinal axis (l) of the counter body. |
