The jack includes a DC electric motor (5) driving a helicoidal link element (7) via a reducer (6). These components, and an accumulator (32) providing electrical power for the motor, are mounted within the outer casing of the jack. - The jack (10) which is intended to operate a shutter or door within a building includes a first part (1) connected to the shutter (30) and a second part (2) connected to the building (20). The jack includes a DC electric motor (5) driving a helicoidal link element (7) via a reducer (6). The other part of the jack (2) includes a second element (8) co-operating with the helicoidal link element (7) to displace the first part of the jack with respect to the second part of the jack. The helicoidal link element includes a system for re-circulation of ball bearings. The jack also includes an accumulator (32) holding electrical power to supply the motor operating the jack. |
