摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple reflection type cell, capable of obtaining a light path having a required sufficient length, even though it is sharply miniaturized as a whole, and an infrared-type gas detector having high responsiveness with respect to gas detection operation. <P>SOLUTION: The multiple reflection type cell is constituted so that first and second concave reflecting mirrors which have mutually the same radius of curvature are arranged in a cell body facing so that the space-apart distance between the reflecting mirrors coincides with the radius of curvature and a planar reflecting mirror is arranged so that the center position of curvature related to the first concave mirror is located on the reflecting surface of the plane reflecting mirror. A light incident part and a light-emitting surface are formed on one end side of the first concave mirror so as to be arranged in a state of being spaced apart from each other, in a direction vertical with respect to the plane which is vertical to the plane mirror. The light incident into the cell body is reflected by an odd number of times by the second concave mirror, and is then emitted to the outside.
