<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time of a process related to manufacturing a color filter and to manufacture a good color filter without generating deviation of registering by simultaneously printing inks of red, green and blue being constitutional colors of a color filter part on a transparent base material such as a transparent base when the color filter is manufactured by a printing technique. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent base 2 is passed through between a plate cylinder 4 and an impression cylinder 3, and the color filter part 8 with a filter pattern prepared by arranging successively and densely a plurality of color inks 7 by combining progressive patterns of progressive colors being filter constituting colors is formed by printing on the transparent base 2. The plate cylinder 4 provides a plate face 9 of an intaglio printing plate corresponding to the filter pattern, and the inks 7 corresponding to the progressive patterns are respectively filled into progressive cells 10, 11 and 12 of every progressive patterns constituting the plate face 9 by ink feeding means 15, 14 and 13 corresponding by ultrafine nozzles 15a, 14a and 13a, and the inks 7 of the filter constituting colors are provided on the plate face 9 of the plate cylinder 4 with the filter pattern.
