PURPOSE: A decoration artifact and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enable the decoration artifact to exhibit enhanced manageability and reinforced strength by using a cheap, lightweight, flexible, elastic material and forming a rigid coating on its surface in a simplified process without using a separate mold, thereby ultimately increasing productivity. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a decoration artifact comprises: forming an interior member made of a flexible, lightweight material; applying a coating member to a surface of the interior member for increasing tensile intensity; applying a pigment having a predetermined color on the coating member and drying the same to complete the decoration artifact; and commercializing the completed decoration artifact.
