<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible stent which is excellent in the nature of following a lumen or the like (so that it can pass through a three-dimensionally meandering lumen), can easily form a horizontal hole, can prevent shortening (shortening of length of a tube) and is gentle to the lumen or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The stent includes two or more annular members 1 which are disposed in a longitudinal direction and are expansible in a radial direction, and one or more connection elements 2 which connect adjacent annular members 1 and 1 each other in the longitudinal direction, wherein the annular members 1 are constituted in a developed condition with wave elements 11 with relatively large amplitude and wave elements 12 with relatively small amplitude which are alternatively repeated every wavelength and are vertically connected, and the adjacent annular members 1 and 1 are constituted to be connected with the wave fronts 121 and 122 of the wave elements 12 with small amplitude respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
