PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light source device reducing the number of components, reducing a production cost, enhancing productivity, and safely and cleanly manufacturing.

SOLUTION: When a lamp frame 15 and a elliptic reflector 12 are joined, the relative position of the elliptic reflector 12 capable of obtaining the optimum condensation efficiency to the lamp frame 15 is found, and in this position, a projection part 155 of the lamp frame 15 is joined to an inclined slope along the reflecting surface formed on a circumferential back surface side of a luminous flux injection opening of the elliptic reflector 12 by heating pressing action to integrate the lamp frame 15 with the elliptic reflector 12.
