<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet with a soft closer mechanism which can impart a degree of freedom to a mounting position of an elastic member for imparting a closing-direction pull-in force to a slider, and which can impart an elastic force in the same direction as the direction of the movement of the slider. <P>SOLUTION: A closer S1, which is provided in a cabinet body engaged with/disengaged from a locking pin 10 almost on completion of a closing motion of an outer door 1b, comprises the slider 12 which is supported by a closer housing (S1b) in such a manner as to be movable in the opening/closing direction of the outer door 1b, a damper 14 which reduces the speed of the movement of the slider 12 in the closing direction, and a closer hook 16 which is engaged with/disengaged from the locking pin 10 attached to the slider 12. A helical tension spring SP, which imparts the closing-direction pull-in force to the slider 12, is provided in a tensioned state between the slider 12 and the closer housing (S1b), so as to impart the elastic force in the same direction as the direction of the movement of the slider 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
