PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnetically slope levitated system that is applied to a transporting system which moves a levitated body along a track by levitating the body and is improved in performance by improving the levitation force and guide force characteristics. SOLUTION: A ferromagnetic track 1 is constituted by not arranging continuous ferromagnetic bodies, but arranging ferromagnetic bodies 1a which are obtained by dividing continuous ferromagnetic bodies into pieces at prescribed intervals in the lengthwise direction of the track 1. Since air exists among the ferromagnetic bodies 1a as a paramagnetic material, a powerful magnetic field generated by a superconducting coil 2 significantly reduces the magnetic flux flowing in the lengthwise direction of the track 1 in the ferromagnetic bodies 1a. Therefore, most of the magnetic flux can be made to flow in the direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the track 1, namely, in the vertical and lateral directions which are required for obtaining a levitation force and guide force. Consequently, the magnetic field generated by the superconducting coil 2 flows in the vertical direction, and sufficient levitation stability can be secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
