PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment wire in which three-dimensional translation is enabled without extracting a tooth in advance on the occasion of orthodontic treatment, and thereby root resorption can be prevented substantially completely and further the tissue may almost not be damaged.SOLUTION: A dental treatment wire 11 has a first portion 11a, a second portion 11b, a third portion 11c, an arch-shaped fourth portion 11d, a fifth portion 11e, a sixth portion 11f and a seventh portion 11g, and has a rectangular cross section of (0.41±0.05 mm)×(0.56±0.05 mm), and as a whole, is formed of an arch-shaped stainless steel wire. The first and seventh portions are positioned in a first plane, the second and sixth portions are positioned in a second plane, the third and fifth portions are positioned in a third plane, and the fourth portion is positioned in a fourth plane. The second plane is inclined to the first plane by 5° to 20°, the second plane is inclined to the third plane by 5° to 20° at the same side as the first plane, and the fourth plane is inclined to the third plane by 5° to 20° at the same side as the first plane, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
