PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable changing the settings of a plurality of switches without a direct connection of a microcomputer to a relay device which relays data among a plurality of Ethernet communication lines.SOLUTION: A relay device receives rewriting information, which indicates a setting of the relay device is to be changed, through either of a plurality of Ethernet communication lines from a writing device (S160). The relay device then changes the setting of the relay device according to the rewriting information (S170), to transmit the rewriting information to another relay device existent in a local network (S165).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
